We are currently recruiting for the following posts for Pune Intervention Study

Post: Statistician
Location: Diabetes Unit, KEM Hospital Research Centre, Pune

Primary responsibilities:

» Develop statistical methods for analysis of long term follow-up of cohorts and interventional studies
» Validation and analysis of data
» Contribute to writing research papers
» Train junior statisticians and other members of staff.

Qualifications and Criteria:

» PhD/Post doc in Biostatistics or equivalent field
» Experience of working with large cohort or interventional studies
» Proficiency in the use of statistical software (SPSS, STATA, R)
» Research publications preferred » Organised, confident, and driven personality with the ability to work independently as well as lead others when required
» Good interpersonal and team working skills

Salary will be commensurate with experience and will not be a constraint for the right candidate.




Post: Senior Analytical Chemist
Location: Diabetes Unit, KEM Hospital Research Centre, Pune

Primary responsibilities:

» Develop and validate new high throughput HPLC and MS-based metabolomics workflows
» Optimize existing HPLC based metabolomics platforms
» Contribute to ongoing laboratory analyses on human samples
» Supervise and train junior chemists and biochemists
» Effectively communicate and report results to biologists & statisticians

Qualifications and Criteria:

» PhD/Postdoc in a relevant specialty
» Good understanding of metabolic biochemical pathways & models » Experience in human samples of metabolomics/proteomics desirable » Research publications preferred » Organised, confident, and driven personality with the ability to work independently and also lead others when necessary » Good interpersonal and team working skills
